In his 70 day test in Schlieckau, he scored 154.98 points in his dressage index and he also achieved the highest overall index score of 145.27. He was awarded a score of 9.0 or higher a total of 16 times and the test riders gave him a perfect 10.0 for rideability. Fürstenball is descended from Oldenburg's "champion bloodline", a bloodline that regularly impresses the breeding world. Sieger Hit was champion stallion in 2007, Fürstenball in 2008 and Hot Spot by Hotline was Second Reserve Champion in 2009.
