Friendship
is a prime example of excellence in movement and rideability. He
is a son of the premier stallion, Florestan
I, who is a leading
sire in Germany with a breeding index of 166 points. Florestan
consistantly has sired top class dressage winners like Ferrara
S, Floriano Deut and Floriano. Friendship's dam, Domane, was
sired by Diamantino, the Westfalen winner of the Stallion
Performance Test, DLG Champion and sire of many approved sons.
He is a representative of of the Duellant Hanoverian line, long
esteemed as a source of beautiful movers. In the fourth
generation, Friendship has the Thoroughbred, Anglo xx, who is a
Westfalen foundation sire of utmost importance, having sired
Olympic gold medallist Ahlerich. Several approved sires come
from Friendship's mother line, such as Bonus, Fiorello, and
Parodist I and II.
