Ampere Wins 2008 KWPN Spring Stallion Performance Test

The 2008 KWPN Licensing Champion Ajong (now named Ampere) has won the
spring KWPN Stallion Performance Testing. Only three dressage stallions
made the cut and were fully licensed for breeding. Four show jumping
stallions passed the testing as well.
The dressage winner of the testing was without a doubt Ampere, who
was presented at the licensing under the name Ajong. The Rousseau x
Flemmingh colt excelled in his basic gaits and rideability. He scores 8
for walk, 9 for trot, 9.5 for canter, 9 for suppleness, 8,5 for self
carriage, 9 for rideability, and 9 for potential. His total of 88,5 put
him 8 points ahead of the second best stallion. Ampere is owned by
Tamerus Beheer, Nico Witte and Reesink Horses.
The other two licensed stallions are Andretti (by Special D x Sandro
Hit) and Armani (by United x Jazzà. Armani, who descends out of the
full sister of Dutch A-team Grand Prix horse Parzival and who is owned
by Joop van Uytert and Mr. Heesakkers, scored 80,5. Andretti (previously
named Arrow) is owned by the IPS Horse Group and scored 7 for walk and
8,5 for trot and canter. His total was 80 points.

More exciting news on AMPERE!
Well, its official ... the frozen semen of AMPERE is ready for us and will be
coming over in a couple of weeks. After congenial negotiation with the Reesink
brothers, we are able to bring in a larger supply than first allotted. As well,
Yancey Farms has been given exclusivity in North America.
This young stallion has just hit Europe by storm, and breeders are lining up. He
will be presented to the Westfalen and Hanoverian stallion licensing juries by
the end of the month. They will no doubt see his outstanding qualities, so those
mare owners here can be excited, too, that they can use this awesome youngster
in their programs.
Although the stud fee and frozen semen prices are high, I think it will be a
good value at $950 per dose. The PPTM is reported at 60% on most all of the
freezes.

AMPERE now licensed German Oldenburg!
Things have moved along quickly with this outstanding young stallion, AMPERE. (Ahm-PEAR-ee)
We requested that he be presented to the German Oldenburg Verband for licensing
so that we could register foals out of our German bred mares. Well, today he was
presented and unquestionably was accepted.
Our frozen semen will come over probably Feb. - or as soon as we can freeze
enough for our use here. Believe me I will be right on it as I want to use him
on some of my own mares, and I like to breed early!
The price will be in keeping with our other stallions. Thank you already , for
the interest many of you have shown.

Ein Hengst von ganz außergewöhnlicher Qualität, der 2008
zum unangefochtenen und alles überragenden Siegerhengst der niederländischen
Körung (KWPN) in s‘Hertogenbosch gekürt wurde. Seinen 70-Tage-Test
absolvierte der bildhübsche Braune in Ermelo als Sieger mit Höchstnoten in
nahezu allen Teilbereichen (Schritt: 8,0; Trab: 9,0, Galopp: 9,5;
Losgelassenheit: 9,0; Rittigkeit: 9,0; Dressurveranlagung: 9,0).
Sein Vater Rousseau wurde im Jahr 2003 Vize-Weltmeister der
Jungen Dressurpferde in Verden und schaffte es darüber hinaus mit Wamberto
(2006) - derselbe Stamm wie Olympic Fire - Blue Hors Zack (2007) und Ampère
(2008) drei Mal in Folge! den Siegerhengst der KWPN-Körung zu stellen. Ampères
Muttervater Flemmingh gilt als Lieferant internationaler Spitzenpferde wie Krack
C (Anky van Grunsven) oder Lingh (Edward Gal). Im Jahr 2009 stellte Flemmingh
zudem den strahlenden Siegerhengst der Oldenburger Körung in Vechta. Aus
demselben Stamm kommen neben erfolgreichen Dressurpferden aber auch
hocherfolgreiche Springpferde wie die gekörten Hengste Mythos (Mytens xx - Farn)
und Gringo (Ramiro - Amor).
Ampère sorgte mit seinem zweiten Fohlenjahrgang in
Deutschland für einen bisher nie da gewesenen Rekord: 200.000 € kostete ein
Hengstanwärter auf der Fohlen-Eliteauktion in Vechta. Mit weiteren Preisspitzen
auf verschiedenen Auktionplätzen waren Ampère-Nachkommen im letzten Jahr
bundesweit in aller Munde. Darüber hinaus sorgte der Hengst mit seinem ersten
Fohlenjahrgang in Holland für Furore und stellte dort u.a. das
Gesamtsiegerfohlen des KWPN im Ermelo 2009. Neben mehreren Championatsfohlen
stellte Ampère das Gesamt-Siegerfohlen des holländischen Verbandes (KWPN) in
Ermelo. Beim 2. Lemwerderaner Fohlenchampionat im April 2010 stellte er das
Siegerfohlen aus einer Rotspon-Matcho AA -Mutter. Viele weitere Siegerfohlen
folgten. Beim Deutschen Fohlenchampionat in Lienen 2011 stellte er den 2.
Reservesieger. Von seinen ersten Fohlenjahrgängen 2009 und 2010 gibt es hier
einige Video-Impressionen. Ampère vererbt keine Fuchsfarbe und gibt seine
herausragenden Bewegungen und den schicken Typ an seine Nachkommen weiter.
