De zoon van Johnson heeft zich zeer goed gepresenteerd tijdens zijn keuring op de Süddeutsche Sattelkörung Marbach op 6 oktober 2010, hij liet daar zien over 3 zeer goede basisgangen te beschikken en viel op met zijn imponerende en spectaculaire achterbeengebruik. Fokker van deze hengst is Hugo Schmidgall uit Wüstenrot. Edward Gal over zijn nieuwe tophengst: "Ik ben heel blij dat een paard als Jack Sparrow op mijn pad komt. Hengelo: President's Jack Sparrow pakt eerste zege! 30/11/2011 Johnson-zoon Jack Sparrow werd vorige week tijdens de eerste bezichtiging van het KWPN aangewezen voor het hengstencompetitie-traject. Precies een week later wist de stoere zwarte al de winst in de eerste competitiewedstrijd op te eisen. Onder het zadel van Edward Gal liep de hengst van de President Stables woensdag in Hengelo naar een knappe score van 85 punten, waarmee hij in de L-rubriek ruimschoots de winnaar was. Edward Gal kwam lachend de ring uit: “Ik ben hier heel blij mee, maar ook al was Jack Sparrow bij wijze van spreken ontploft; dan was ik nog blij geweest. Ik weet op wat voor paard ik zit en het is een paard met ontzettend veel kwaliteit. Ik heb echt het gevoel dat ik over een paar jaar met een knipoog aan kan piafferen.” Jack Sparrow bleef in de L-rubriek voor op KWPN-hengst Chippendale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) onder het zadel van Severo Jurado Lopez en de in Oldenburg goedgekeurde Chicago MH (Vivaldi x Montecristo), die werd voorgesteld door Jonna Schelstraete.

President Jack Sparrow door naar 2de bezichtiging! 24/11/2011 Gisteren, na de eindpresentatie van de hengsten in het verrichtingsonderzoek, vond de eerste bezichtiging plaats voor hengsten geboren in 2008 en eerder. President Jack Sparrow (Johnson x Wolkentanz II x Don Primero) heeft hieraan succesvol deelgenomen onder zijn ruiter Edward Gal en is uitgenodigd voor de tweede bezichtiging. Voor deze hengst houdt de tweede bezichtiging in dat moet worden deelgenomen aan de Hengstencompetitie. Na de competitie besluit de GMB KNHS/KWPN Hengstenkeuringscommissie of de hengst aangewezen wordt voor de derde bezichtiging.
