Sandro
Song dark brown, born
1988, 17.0 hands

An exceptional sire
model that could hardly be more impressive as far as presence, spectacular
movement quality, extravagant jumping ability, outstanding willingness to learn
and perform and strong hereditary traits are concerned. He started his career as
the undisputed champion stallion at his 1990 approval, went on to finish his
performance test with an outstanding total score of more than 130 points
(dressage index: 133.11, jumping index: 124.55) and then proceeded to produce an
awesome first crop. These achievements were rewarded in Oldenburg
in 1992 where he received the Main Premium.
A double talent, he not only has all of the advanced level dressage movements at
his command but is also capable of exceptional achievements on a course. Through
his son, World Champion in dressage, Sandro Hit, he even started a new stallion
dynasty throughout Europe. His son, Sandro Star (dam by First Gotthard –
Weltmeister), not only won the approval but his stallion performance test as
well (137.86 points) and his son, Souverän (dam by Aragon – Waidmannsdank
xx), became the reserve champion at his performance test in Redefin in 2001.
Sandro Song can also boast of several other licensed sons, State Premium mares
and dressage horses as well as show jumpers that have been highly successful all
the way up to advanced level. Most noteworthy at present is Herr Schröder, now
an internationally successful, advanced level show jumper who won the "Niedersachsen"
Prize finals at the German Classics 2001 in Hanover under Joachim Heyer. Sandro
Song also presented one of the top priced horses in the jumper collection (DM
105,000) at the 2001 Elite Auction in Verden called Song for Joy.
Licensed for Oldenburg, Hanover,
Westphalia, Rhineland
and the eastern German Verbands.
