biography
Goethe recently entered the top 20 of all Hanoverian bred competition horses in the dressage arena. He was purchased by his present owners through Verden elite auction as a three years old, then got licensed by the way of show record. In 1999 he left behind the famous White Magic with Holga Finken at Hanover. One year later at only 8 years old Goethe has already managed trained and ridden by Heiner Schiergen to earn no less than 18 winnings in S-level dressage tests in a row. He has knocked out famous sires like Relevant ridden by Nicole Uphoff, Breitling W., Rosier and Friedensfürst ridden by Lisa Wilcox, Don Schufro ridden by Lars Petersen, Ramiro's Bube ridden by Christine Stückelberger, Le Beau, Donnerwind, Navarino with Michael Klimke and Dunhill on S-level at Aachen. Besides he placed himself for two times in the Bundeschampionate finals at Warendorf, got two times qualified for the well regarded Nürnberger Burgpokal finals. Goethe passed his SPT in 1997 at Neustadt/Dosse with flying colors and ended up 2nd out of 36 in the dressage department, 8th in jumping and 4th overall. He received two outright 10's on character and willingness to perform as well as 9,5 on rideability, 9's on temperament, jumping ability, Trot and canter. We've been impressed enough with his under saddle performance to breed Dune to him for her first foal in 2002. We are sure this foal will only be for sale if it's a colt. June 2001 update: We recently learned one of Goethe's first foals got reserve champion at a foal show competing against excellent Celle State Stud foals.
