Ronaldo, black KWPN Stallion, by (Rubinstein I / Ramino [Ramiro Z]) born in 1995, standing approximately 16.2-1/2 hands.

Magic Ronaldo is sired by the legendary black foundation stallion, Rubinstein I, who performed at international level in dressage, and who originates from the same line as the Olympic Champion Rembrandt. He has sired over 80 approved stallions, among which Rohdiamant, Rubinus, and Magic Ronaldo. Magic Ronaldo's dam, the State Premium mare Carella, originates from one of the best maternal lines of Oldenburg. She also produced the approved stallion Rubin Star N, who won in 1994 the Hengstleistungsprüfung in Munchen-Riem , and the mare, Rendezvous, who won the Bundeschampionat for four year old mares. Magic Ronaldo was champion of the stallion shows in Oldenburg in 1997. In 1999 he did a fantastic performance test in Neustadt-Dosse, with 10's for canter, and character. In 1999 he became reserve champion of Oldenburg based on his performance and progeny. In the Netherlands, Magic Ronaldo was successful in the Stallion Competition of 2000 and 2001. The KWPN was very positive about his progeny, who are very sought after at auction and yielded high prices. Magic Ronaldo is currently being trained by Edward Gal for the Light Tour.

The Stallion

Ronaldo (also known as Magic Ronaldo, affirming his residency at Magic stables in Holland), began his career in perfect style by becoming 1997 overall champion of the stallion show in Oldenburg. This success was enhanced in 1999 after completion of a truly exceptional Performance test in Neustadt-Dosse, where he achieved 10's for both his canter and character and 9's for his walk and trot! In 2000/2001 he was the winner of the Dutch dressage stallion competition. In 2003 Ronaldo made his début in the Prix St. George and Intermediaire l and is currently being trained by Edward Gal for the Light tour.

Ronaldo has been identified as a stallion producing exceptional offspring, as reflected in the extremely high prices achieved. A colt foal in 2003 by Magic Ronaldo broke the Dutch all time highest price record for a horse sold at auction!! His offspring are highly sought after and as such have found homes in some of the most prominent and famous dressage stables both in Holland and abroad. The KWPN panel of judge's have identified this and praised the stallion for the quality of his offspring.

Ronaldo has been recognised in breeding as one of the best dressage stallions by the great Rubinstein I.

Pedigree

His father is one of the most famous dressage stallions of all time, the great Rubinstein I. Although Rubinstein died at a relatively young age, in this short period he made an enormous impact on the dressage and breeding world. His bloodlines are now highly sought after. Rubinstein is renowned for producing trainable horses with outstanding movement.

His dam the 'Staats Premien Stute' Carella, is by the well known stallion Ramino. Ramino was famous for his victory, no less than 5 times as national showjumping champion in Italy. He was also stallion performance test winner in Adelheidsdorf during 1983. Ramino produced a number of other famous stallion dams - for example the dam of the outstanding dressage stallion, Sandro Hit. Carella also produced the licenced stallion Rubin Star N, standing at stud here in the UK. He was the winner at his Stallion Performance test in Munchen-Riem in great style. He was also finalist in the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf in 1997. Three full sisters of Magic Ronaldo have been awarded the prestigious 'Staats Premie' title.
