FAREWELL
Licensed for Westphalia, Rhineland, Oldenburg Son of the highly applauded 1996 German Champion, Fidermark, who is a Grand Prix winner today, Farewell represents the successful Florestan line. Farewell passed an excellent 30-days-test with scores of more than 8.5 in both events. Moreover, Farewell qualified for the German Young Horses’ Championship two times and won several young horse dressage tests. This year he was placed and won medium dressage tests. His foals are extremely strong moving, with good proportions and a nice size. In 2004 Farewall presented a licensed son at Neustadt/Dosse as well as a premium stallion in Westfalia sold to the Swedish Stud Flyinge where he became best 3 year old stallion at Swedish Young Horse Championship and placed fourth in the final. In 2005 another son of Farewell has been licensed; he was sold to the National Stud in Warendorf/NRW.
His dam Riga became vice-champion at the Münster Elite Show in 1997 and she already provided three approved stallions. The rest of his pedigree, with Apart – the son of the Thoroughbred stallion Angelo – and the Frühlingstraum son, Feuerschein I, is built upon the traditional performance oriented Westphalian recipe for success. This dam line also produced the Westphalian sire, Rosenquarz by Rosenkavalier, and the advanced level dressage horse, Wenezia by Worldchamp.
