Herzensdieb bay Trakehner Stallion (Tambour /Tiviano [Tuemler]) born in 2003, standing approximately 16.2 1/4 hands. At the National Trakehner Show, Herzensdieb won bronze in the class for riding horses with the highest scores for his trot and canter and was nominated for the Bundeschampionat. His first foal crop immediately set standards: at home as well as abroad, many of his foals won various shows and at the Trakehner Foal Auction one of his foals brought the highest price. The Trakehner Breeding Director, Lars Gehrmann, also praised his first class debut in the Hanoverian breed. Herzensdieb was the winner of the 2005 licensing and the spectator's darling at the Trakehner licensing. The most expensive stallion at the Stallion Market, he changed hands to his current owners, Louise und Doug Leatherdale/USA. In 2006 he finished his stallion performance test as Reserve Champion and won the class for three-year old stallions in the Trakehner Championships. His sire Tambour was a premium stallion, took fourth place at his performance test and advanced to become the Trakehner Show Jumper Champion. Following this he was trained up to advanced (S) level in dressage. When he turned six he was the only stallion of his year to receive Elite Stallion candidate status. Tambour also sired the Champion Mare of the year, Zaubermelodie III. Along with the Champion Stallion Herzensdieb, another closely related Tambour son named Herzog was licensed and in 2006 he won his stallion performance test. The dam, St.Pr./El.St. Herzensfreude, passed her broodmare performance test with a record score of 9.11. The granddam, St.Pr./El.St. Herzenslust, is a half-sister of the premium stallion Herzkristall (by Goldino). The H-line at Gestüt Panker also produced the Champion Stallion Herzzauber and the sires Herzkönig, Herzbube and Herzfunke, sport horses such as the dressage star Harlem and prize-winning mares. In the third generation there is a significant inbreeding component through El.St. Tilsit III. She is the dam of the licensed stallions Tenor, Tivano and Tuareg. Her prize decorated daughter St.Pr./EI.St. Tänzerin V produced three licensed sons: the two full brothers Tambour and Thalys as well as Travell
