Extra Fine HW is by Escamillo, the silver and bronze medallist at the World Championships for young dressage horses. "What an amazing performance," the judges praised Escamillo's performance in the World Championship final for seven-year-old dressage horses in their commentary, "we love this horse and see a very big future in him." Once again, Escamillo received dream scores at this prestigious meeting of the world's best young dressage horses. 9.5 for trot and perspective, 9.0 for walk and canter, 8.5 for submission - and a fantastic 91 percent and the bronze medal. The year before, Escamillo, ridden by the Spanish rider Manuel Dominguez Bernal, who rides for Helen Langehanenberg's yard, had already received scores of 9.0 and higher in the World Championship's arena, earning him the silver medal in the six-year-olds class.

Breeding-wise Escamillo also puts one exclamation mark after the next behind his hereditary power. He has already produced over 30 licensed stallions, among them the Neustadt Champion Stallion Element of Crime, the Hanoverian Premium Stallion and 700,000-euro Stallion Market top price Energy, the Westphalian Reserve Champion Stallions Escaneno, Espléndido MT and Excalibur as well as our stallions Escanto PS, two-time stallion performance test record winner, Expectation PS and Escamour, the stallion performance test winner Eleven HW and the bronze medallist of the Hanoverian Champion-ships, Estupendo. The German and Westphalian Champion Eivissa ridden by Jessica Lynn Thomas/SWE stands out amongst his first sport offspring. She received a 10 for both trot and canter and a 9.5 for rideability and conformation in Warendorf. Embolo, third in the "Westfalen-Wappen" class at the "Turnier der Sieger", achieved the sensational knockdown price of 590,000 euros, the highest price ever achieved by a riding horse at a Westphalian auction. Eyecatcher W won the Austrian Warmblood Championships for three-year-olds in Stadl-Paura/AUT. Escamillo's daughter, Exclusive, won the Herwart van der Decken Show in Verden.

Escamillo began his career as premium stallion at his licensing in 2017 in Verden, passed his 14-day test in 2018 with a dressage score of 9.08 and completed his sport test in 2020 with Helen Langehanenberg with a winning score of 9.36. Ridden by the Olympic team silver medallist, he also qualified for the German Championships for young dressage horses as a five-year-old with 9.5. In 2021, with Manuel Dominguez Bernal, he won the intermediate (M) level dres-sage test for young horses in Haftenkamp with a score of 8.8 (also qualifier for the German Championships for six-year-olds). The same year, Escamillo was awarded the Weltmeyer Prize by the Hanoverian Association.

His sire, the Westphalian and double German Champion Escolar, was placed in the final of the Burg Cup, the final of the Louisdor Prize and at the German Championships with the Olympic Champion and riding master Hubertus Schmidt/GER. They were part of the German Olympic squad. His dam Verb.Pr.St. Cassila is the full sister of the li-censed stallions Romanist (advanced S* level dressage) and Romeo Niro (intermediate M** level dressage). His grand-sire Rohdiamant was German Champion in 1993 and competed at Grand Prix level with Lisa Wilcox/USA. Around 50 of his sons have been licensed. His most successful offspring include Valentina Truppa's/ITA Olympic partner Eremo del Castegno and Helen Langehanenberg's Responsible OLD.

His grand-dam Chantal is the full sister of Dumont/Juliane Brunkhorst/GER and Hartwig Burfeind/GER, licensed stallion and successful in Grand Prix, and her half brother Aquavit (by Argentinus) is successful in competitions for young show jumping horses. De Niro, Landadel and Zeus also appear in the pedigree. His great-grand-dam St.Pr./El.St. Caruge is the full sister of the licensed stallion Laphroaig/Leporello and produced several state premium mares. Her full sister is no other than the German Champion Mare St.Pr./El.St. C-Dur, who produced four licensed stallions.

Line of El.St. Cinderella, from which descend the five German Champion full siblings Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I), the Grand Prix dressage horse Radondo (by Romanov)/Ashley Holzer/USA, as well as the stallions Zymbal I and II (both by Zeus), First Class I and II (both by Furioso II), Sesostris (by Silvio I), Rubino Rosso (by Rubinstein), Castus I and II (both by Classiker), Stiefelkönig (by Silvano), Grand Marnier (by Galoubet A), Pharaoh (by Parabol), RTL (by Rubinstein), Routinier (by Rohdiamant), Solo Hit (by Sandro Hit), Get Smart (by Granulit), Fortune Hunter (by First Class I), Casanova (by Castro) and Si bon (by Sir Donnerhall I).

Escamillo:

Extra Fine HW's dam sire is Florencio:

World Champion of the 5-year-old dressage horses in Verden

Florencio wins with a record-breaking score

10.0 points for the canter, 9.8 for the walk, 9.7 for the trot, 9.6 for the suppleness, and 9.9 points for the overall impression. Astronomical results for a stallion which seems to be from a different sphere: Florencio wins the World Championship of the 5-year-old dressage horses. With the total score of 9.80, the dark bay Westphalian under his Dutch rider Hans Peter Minderhoud established a new championship record.

Already during the qualification round Florencio proofed his exceptional quality. Unimpressed with the downpours and the heavy ground of the test arena, he won confidently achieving 9.8 points each for the trot and for the canter, 9.5 for the walk as well as for the suppleness, and 9.7 for the overall impression which added up to a total score of 9.66. In the final test, the sire from Ludwig Kathmann's stallion station in Vechta-Holtrup did his role as the favorite candidate justice. Despite the strong wind which was blowing in the stadium in Verden, the young stallion concentrated exemplarily on the aids of his rider. The expressive trot, the picture-perfect canter as well as the rhythmic, ground-covering and calm walk impressed both the audience and the judges. The comment of judge Jenny Loriston-Clark from Great Britain brought it to the point: "What a wonderful horse."

Last year Florencio won the Westphalian Championship under Simon Drop, and at the German Championship in Warendorf he became vice-champion of the 4-year-old stallions.

Susanne Sanal from Kamen bred the Florestan I-son Florencio out of Walessa by Weltmeyer-Pik Bube I. Florencio was approved by the Oldenburg breeding association. Six of the foals from his first foal age class have been admitted so far for the 3rd Elite Foal Auction in Vechta on the 20th August 2004 at the Oldenburg Horse Centre in Vechta. He debuted as a sire at the 60th Oldenburg Elite Auction in April 2004: At that event a Florencio-son was sold for 10,000 Euros to Great Britain .

Florencio is undoubtedly a great gain for the dressage breeding. His unbelievable beauty in conjunction with his natural light, uphill movements makes him a revelation to every dressage lover. Florencio is a stallion who is bred for dressage from the cream of the crop of stud stallions in Westphalia and Hanoverian studbooks. He carries with him all the blood and expression necessary for dressage breeding.

Extra Fine HW , equipped with phenomenal competition genes, even going back to the famous Donnerhall, is a horse of amazing quality and super fancy mover who knows to impress with his type and work ethic.

This stunning horse has it all. He has a super nice, chiseled head, big stallion neck (he's a gelding!). He is a dream come true. His hooves barley touch the ground. He loves to please his handler and rider and is a fast learner. This boy eagerly works under saddle and loves his job. He is breathtaking to watch in the dressage arena and with his quick, far reaching hind leg, passage and piaffe will come naturally to him.

He is supple and has a ton of air time. He just floats above the ground. With his free shoulder and huge grundschwung, he swings nicely through his back.

This extremely talented gentleman has international potential. He super easy to train, everything is like child play to him.

He is a very sweet young man, with great ride ability and he makes a lasting impression on whom ever sees him. He is a clone to his famous sire, in addition, easy to handle and loves his personal grooming time and puts his head right in your lap, striving for attention and searching for treats.
