ForFun HW, chestnut Westphalian gelding, by For Romance (Fuerst Romancier / Sir Donnerhall II)/Bundeschampion Dresemann, born in 2014, standing approximately 169 cm or 16.2 hands.

ForFun HW is by the famous stallion For Romance - the epitome of a model sire - and from a Voltaire dam line that has been accorded great success. Blessed with three excellent gaits, his canter and trot can only be described with superlatives and his character is also noteworthy. He stood out brilliantly in the strong lot of stallions at the 2011 Oldenburg Verband licensing and the enthusiastic spectators in Vechta gave him standing ovations.

As expected, For Romance passed his 30-day test in Schlieckau with super scores. He received a 9.25 for his trot and rideability, a 9.0 for his canter and an 8.88 for character.

In the third generation of his pedigree you find Don Schufro who took the Danish Champion title and won team bronze at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong under Andreas Helgstrand/DEN. He is also the sire of many champions. For Romance's dam line goes back to Voltaire, a Furioso II son who was well-known in breeding and sport the world over. This line is also the origin of the licensed stallions Dusty, Furinos and Platino as well as many international sport horses that were highly successful in show jumping as well as dressage.

His sire, Fürst Romancier, was licensed in 2007 and made headlines just two years later when he took fourth place in the World Championships for young dressage horses in the class for five year olds and also fourth place at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf. Matthias Alexander Rath has taken over Fürst Romancier's training, in 2012.

For Romance's full sister Fasine took the Oldenburg Champion Mare title - a feat that is so far unique in the history of the Oldenburg Verband. The dam's sire, Sir Donnerhall I, gained trademark status early on in his career. He was the 2nd Reserve Champion at his licensing, State Champion, the record-breaking winner of his stallion performance test, Vice World Champion of young dressage horses and Bundeschampion as well as the main premium winner of stallions with emphasis on dressage. More than 50 of his sons have been licensed. In 2010, three of his progeny took Vice Bundeschampion titles in Warendorf: Silbermond - the NRW Champion Stallion, Appassionata and the licensed Snap Shot. He has also siree numerous top auction horses.

For Romance:

Dresemann is ForFun HW's dam sire, a pitch black dance master, with fascinating in and exterior. He won the Bundeschampionate with the highest points (four 10's) ever given by judges at that show. An elegant gentleman, with an near unmatched movement.

His bloodlines combine the famous Donnerhall and Weltmeyer lines, the most influential and important genes of the presence. The black sire Daidalos was Landesridinghorse Champion in Hanover/Bremen.

He was successful in Dressage classes, winning under Heiner Schiergen all the way to the Bundeschampionat. Dresemann was the sensation at the Bundeschampionat

2002: Dresemann, under Elisabeth Niehues-Rembeck, a sight that will be unforgettable. He qualified already with the highest scores of 8.8 and it was obvious, that he would be in the finale. This dream in black, got the highest scores ever given out at the Bundeschamiopnat by the guest riders and was totally the sensation of the year:

- Trot 10,0 - Canter 10,0 - Walk 8,5 - Conformation 9,5 - Overall Impression 9,5 - Guest Rider I 10,0 - Guest Rider II 10,0

After this perfect performance, he was named Bundeschampion of the 3 year old riding horse stallions, with a total of 67.5, followed by 2nd place with 63. What an obvious victory that was. His dam St. Pr. St. Whitney had a stellar mare performance test. Dam sire Wolkenstein II was the Bundeschampion and stallion performance test winner.

His breeding index is the most successful of all Weltmeyer sons. The picture per-fect beautiful black Dresemann in third Generation was educated up to Grand Prix and a very highly sought after stallion in Celle as well as in France. The grand dam Gina is a sister to the famous Dillenburg stallion Grafenberg. Via Grenadier, Lugano I, Wöhler, Poet xx, Jason ox, he has the best genes you could be looking for.

This stellar stallion came in with a score of 8.33 as 3rd place out of 33 participants. His ride ability, trot and canter, were 1st place, no doubt. In the year 2003, he was victorious in many dressage horse classes. In 2004, Dresemann participated at the world young horse championships in Verden as well as being in the finale of the Bundeschampionat 5 year olds.

In 2005 as well, Dreseman was able to continue his successful career, finale of the world championships of the young dressage horses in Verden as well as finale of the Bundeschampionships for 6 year old dressage horses.

Dreseman then was highly placed all the way up to dressage horse classes Intermediare I. In 2007, his breeding index of 160 was one of the best in the riding horse books. In the meantime he was trained all the way to Grand Prix, there is no limit to what this horse can do.
