D'Grayson HW, gray Oldenburg gelding, by Don Romanov (Don Schufro / Romanov Blue Hors)/Sandro Hit, born in 2016, standing approximately 166 cm or 16.1 and 1/2 hands.

D'Grayson HW, sired by Don Romanov, a beautiful young stallion whom already captivated crowds with top scores at the Oldenburg licensing due to his modern type and outstanding movement with best temperament.

His father, Don Schufro, was highly successful under Andreas Helgstrad in international dressage. Blue Hors Don Schufro won the Grand Prix in Bremen in 2006, and the World Cup qualifier at Vilhelmsborg. In 2005 he won the Grand Prix Special in Wiesbaden, the World Cup qualifier in Vilhelmsborg, had several placings at the shows in Neumünster, Bremen, Lingen, CHIO in Aachen and at the German Masters in Stuttgart. Don Schufro was dressage winner in the material test in Adelheidsdorf (Germany) with 154.93 points. His sire, Donnerhall, was a top dressage stallion. He had several Grand Prix wins including a team gold at the World Championships in Rome in 1998. He has more than 50 approved sons and in 1997 he was selected as the stallion of the year in Germany. Don Schufro's dam's sire, Pik Bube I was also an international dressage stallion with 11 victories in S-dressage within one season. The combination of Donnerhall and Pik Bube has produced true top quality horses. Don Schufros dam, Fiesta is sister to Fantasia who is the dam of famous stallion Don Primero. Fabina, another sister to Don Schufro was selected as best mare in Oldenburg 2003. From the dam's linage (Vornholzer Hauptlinie der Finländerin) are several breeding stallions and international sport horses. Don Schufro has ten approved sons, Don Romantic and Diamond Hit are the best known. In 2006 Don Schufro was the highest-ranked dressage sire on the German FN.

Don Romanov's dam sire Romanov Blue Hors was reserve winner at his licensing and under Hans Peter Minderhoud successful in international dressage competitions. The pair was also victorious in Aachen in 2013, in Drachten in 2014 and won team silver at the European championship in Herning in 2013.

Romanov:

At the Oldenburg licensing in Vechta, Blue Hors Romanov was awarded the honorable award VTV Dressage Stallion 2008 which goes to young stallions that stand out remarkably in both sport and breeding. After having been highly dominant in the Young Horse Championships 2004, 2005, and 2006 Romanov took another step forward in 2007 and made his debut in small tour dressage at the international show in Lingen, Germany, and placed 2nd in Prix St. Georges and 4th in Intermediaire I. He went on to win the Intermediaire at the World Cup qualifier in Odense and eventually made his debut in Grand Prix at the stallion licensing in Herning 2008 and won! He placed twice in Mediem Cup in Lingen at the Grand Prix series for horses under 10 years of age. Romanov was the runner-up stallion at the Oldenburg licensing in 2002. In Herning 2004 he was acclaimed 4-year-old Licensing Champion. At the Danish stallion licensing in 2008 his son Blue Hors Rosoff became premium stallion and stood out as an exemplary Danish Warmblood stallion with type, movement and pedigree that hardly gets any better. Romanov is also a good sire of mares, 3 of the top 6 mares at the Rastede elite mare show were by Romanov. Also at the Elite Mare Show at Vilhelmsborg, Romanov made his impact with six daughters that were awarded a silver medal and three awarded a bronze medal. In 2008 the son of Romanov, Skovens Rafael, became 4-year-old Champion Dressage Stallion at the licensing and later on became a supreme Young Dressage Horse Champion. At the qualifier for the Young Horse Championship for 5-year-old dressage horses in Herning 2009, the highest score of 910 points has been achieved by Hoennerups Driver, and with these outstanding results Romanov is already claiming a high position as sire of top class riding horses. Romanov's dam, elite mare Rumirell, has five approved sons which besides Romanov himself are the premium stallion and main premium champion Rubin Royal, Rumicello, Rubino Vincente and Rubin Action. The sire of them all, Rohdiamant, has had an impressive career. He was licensing champion, main premium champion, international Grand Prix winner under Lisa Wilcox and has sired numerous champion mares and more than 30 licensed stallions. Dam sire Grundstein II is known for passing on sport talents for dressage as well as jumping and his get has competed at both the WEG and the Olympics. Akzent II is known as a great dam sire of many stallions and marking his get with superb type and ridability.

A number of his offspring attained peak prices at different German auction sites, including his daughter Starlet, who at DM 140,000 was the top lot of the collection of broodmares at the 2000 Vechta spring auction. On top of that, two Sandro Hit progeny were awarded the desired status "approved" at the Oldenburg approval, as well as at the NRW approvals. In 2001 he sired the Federal champion and two vice champions.

D'Grayson HW displays typical Donnerhall inheritance. Very interesting to see, in looks, movement, brains, temperament, he's the total package. He will catch your attention with his movement and elegance, plus he's smart and willing to please.

Even as a foal he was already able to wow the judges and audience, which earned him the premium title.

This talented gentleman has three amazing, lofty gaits and is super balanced, working at 1st level already. Half steps will come easy to him. He impresses with his stunning, uphill canter, his trot swings nicely through his body with a soft back and an active hindleg as well as a free shoulder. His walk is always rhythmic, no matter if collected or extended walk. Everybody loves this one, the judges and the audience alike will be excited to see him.

D'Grayson HW is a horse willing to learn daily, very sweet and with his super work ethic and attitude, a horse that fascinates his rider every day of the year. He is so much fun, safe and reliable. Even kids bring him out to and back in from the pasture in Germany, a horse, with a very big heart.
