Ratzinger is an impressive and proven show horse and collector of ribbons. He draws the attention to him where ever he goes. He has great gaits with good motor and nice trot extensions. He won a jumping horse class at A-level and was placed several times in jumping classes with scores up to 7.9. In addition, he placed himself several times in First Level dressage and one suitability class, placing very well. He is working on third level movements right now; flying changes are already coming along very nicely. He is ready to show 2^nd level, easy to manage on show grounds with his been here, done that kind of attitude. Ratzinger strives for attention and enjoys company from his handler and grooming time. Ratzinger may be suitable for a young rider or amateur and he is on the relaxed side of the game, not spooky, rather trustworthy and working nicely and willingly with a great ride ability and attitude. He was shown by a girl at some of the horse shows and behaved really well; she had a lot of fun and success with him. The owner also stated that they took him out to jump an eventing course and he loved it.
