ShowMaster HW is a high quality youngster. His pedigree reads like no other, famous stallions, famous worldwide known riders!

He has meanwhile been trained up to advanced class. Right from the outset, Sandro Hit set standards not only in sport, but also in breeding. His first crops of foals are convincing by their exceptionally aesthetic imprint of type as well as their outstanding motions. His son Sandrit was the 1999 approval winner in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, while Sommerhit was runner-up in Berlin-Brandenburg and Sandro Ace became vice-champion in Oldenburg. Sunny Boy in turn, was awarded a premium in Oldenburg , whereas Sommeliere likewise was approved in Oldenburger in 1999. In the year 2000, Sandro Hit made the headlines once more: His Brandenburg bred daughter Poetin won the Federal Championship of three year old mares and geldings under Hans-Heinrich Meyer zu Strohen. A number of his offspring attained peak prices at different German auction sites, including his daughter Starlet, who at DM 140,000 was the top lot of the collection of broodmares at the 2000 Vechta spring auction. On top of that, two Sandro Hit progeny were awarded the desired status "approved" at the Oldenburg approval, as well as at the NRW approvals. In 2001 he sired the Federal champion and two vice champions.

Show Master HW's dam is by Relevant, Lisa Wilcox's ride. Striking exterior and scope, fabulous movement possibilities with plenty of freedom at the shoulder--it's all Relevant! Relevant with Lisa Wilcox:

ShowMaster HW's great grandsire is Donnerhall, one of the great dressage sires of this century. I have seen videos of Donnerhall, most notably his final competition performance in Rome. He was gorgeous, but to be honest what impressed me most was the crowd's adoration of this old gentleman. He had flowing, supple gaits. He was not known so much for his gaits as his rideability and talent for dressage. Donnerhall died in 2002, but he left a legacy. There are a ton of D-line stallions around, and for good reason. Donnerhall is one of the most influential breeding stallions in dressage.

A few tidbits about Donnerhall...

As a young horse he placed second out of 70 horses at his Stallion Performance Test, with an overall score of 131.92. At least 16 of his offspring are competing at an international level--twice as many as other prominent sires such as Weltmeyer. He has the highest dressage breeding value index (271) of all stallions. Donnerhall sired more than 77 approved stallions and more than 84 state premium mares. Donnerhall crosses extremely well with Pik Bube mares. One gorgeous example of a Pik Bube cross is Don Schufro. Donnerhall is known for his ability to sit down on his haunches and collect, and to pass on this ability to his offspring. Donnerhall wasn't just a great breeding stallion. He showed that it is possible to combine a successful breeding career with a competitive career. With rider Karin Rehbein he achieved phenomenal success in the dressage ring, winning over 30 international grand prix, grand prix special, and freestyle classes. He retired in 1998, after many years at the top of international level dressage. His wins and accomplishments are listed in many of the resources listed below. Donnerhall is deeply revered in Germany, and it is evident in this video tribute:

Donnerhall with Karin Rehbein:

Without a doubt, the Donnerhall x Pik Bube stallions improve conformation and rideability.

ShowMaster HW's great/great grand sire was Pik Bube. For sure the best known son of the outstanding Celle State Stud, Pik König, who in turn was the finest son of Pik As XX. With rider Herbert Rehbein Pik Bube won 11 of the 12 advanced dressage tests that he competed in. Pik Bube was licensed in Verden in 1975 and was Vice-Champion at his 100-Day Test at Adelheidsdorf in 1976. He has sired 16 licensed sons and 28 state's premium mares. His offspring are competing successfuly in dressage to Grand Prix and Jumping to the International S-Level. His daughter Pikantje was Federal German riding horse champion in 1981. Pik Bube's Girl won the 1990 Federal Mare Show in Verden. Pik Primaire and Pik Royal were amongst the 49 of his offspring that were successful in advanced dressage and 19 show jumpers competed to advanced level. His son Pik Noir competed successfully in dressage and was the sire of Prinz Paul who placed 3rd in the six year old Dressage Championship at the 2001 Bundeschampionate. As a brood mare sire Pik Bube has been a phenomenon especially when teamed with Donnerhall which produced horses like: Davignon, Don Primero, Don Schufro, Donatelli, Donnerbube, Dream of Glory, and Duntroon.

Pik Bube with Herbert Rehbein:

ShowMaster HW is a horse of outstanding quality, inside and out. He is an exemplary gentleman, "tres chique" and noble at the same time. Truly a horse for the discriminating buyer. He has it all.

ShowMaster HW is solid at 2nd level and training 3rd level, including flying changes.

He is easy on the bit and light in the hand. He has a superb rhythm and swings through his back. His gaits are just breathtaking. The canter comes with a phenomenal freedom in the shoulder, always uphill and easy to collect, jumping well up and out and under every single time. He is fun to watch and ride. The trot is packed with schwung and his elasticity fulfills all our dreams. He opens up his shoulder and brings the front leg out quite impressive for such a young horse. His active hind steps deeply under his body and enables him to look effortless and move up and out with a lot of air time.

He has talent for piaffe and passage, it's very obvious already. His walk is pure with good overstep. He is as pretty as it gets and looks like a clone in type and movement to some of the famous stallions in his pedigree, a superb horse for the big ring and international competitions.

ShowMaster HW is in the same hands since he was a foal and brought up at our training barn in Germany. He loves to work and learn and has a bright future. He is a "people horse" and loves to be pampered and cuddled, he is always searching for some apples or sugars in your pocket. He knows everything a young horse needs to know. Used to the wash rack, solarium, hot walker and more. He is easy to load and travels well. A true gem and he will bring a smile on your face - every day again and again!
