Red Diamond, chestnut Oldenburg
mare by Revan/LibertyM,
born in 2004, standing approximately 16.1 ½ hands.
Red Diamond, a stunning mare by the stallion Revan, a full
brother to Relevant.
Chic and charm are the outstanding characteristics of this stallion. Because of
his self-assured appearance and the effective presentation of his talents at the
2001 Oldenburg approval, he quickly became the public's darling and advanced to
Reserve Champion. Right from the first step, Revan had perfect carriage and
seems bigger than life because of his natural upward tendency. His excellent
basic paces are in perfect rhythm, flowing smoothly in perfect harmony. He also
stands out on a jumping course.
His sire, Rubinstein I, a sire of the century (individual life time prize money:
€ 122,699.00, prize money earned by off-spring last year: € 269,256.00,
total prize money of off-spring so far: € 1,000,803.00 by 482 successful
offspring, 64 of which are successful advanced level dressage horses), has been
one of the top dressage sires for years and has left his special mark on Revan
as well. The dam's sire, Goldlöwe, was one of the last sons of the legendary
Gotthard. This Hirtenart dam line has produced numerous highly successful sport
horses.
Revan successfully passed his 30 day stallion performance test in 2002, and his
first crop is excitedly awaited. Revan has entered two shows so far, winning one
test and taking second in another. During the 2003 Oldenburg Stallion Parade in
Vechta, Revan was declared the winner of the Main Premium Stallions with an
emphasis on dressage. In 2004 he was Oldenburger State Champion in the class for
five year old dressage horses and a participant at the Bundeschampionat in
Warendorf. Many first and other places in dressage horse tests up to elementary
level. In 2005 Revan qualified for the Bundeschampionat in the class for 6-year
old horses and several first and other places in elementary and medium level
tests for young dressage horses. In 2006, he had firsts and other places in
medium and advanced level dressage tests. Revan's first daughters received State
Premium status.
Red Diamond is a very ride able mare. She swings fluently through her back and
is relaxed enough to let you sit her huge gaits. She was already shown
successfully at First Level with a girl in the saddle. She is a special horse,
no doubt about it. She is forward but not hot and always elastic and easy to
ride. Her gaits are way above average and she was easy to ride and manage at the
horse show. Her trot is expressive, her extensions breathtaking (remember how
young she is!) and her canter is nice, round and uphill with a good motor. She
even does counter canter! Not to forget her nice and rhythmic walk, she is an a
well rounded athlete. She is one for GP and the FEI classes later on in life and
a great prospect for the FEI young horse classes right now. Suitable for an
amateur but definitely with the quality for a professional alike. Ridden by the
girl in the video, she is fun every time out and a true partner at the same
time. She is sweet in the barn and easy to handle. She stands for the farrier,
loads and is behaving like a star. She will be a fun at horse shows and clinics
alike and you can collect the ribbons with her and take her up the levels. You
might also breed her via embryo transfer if you wish or after her competition
time, she will give you quality offspring and would make a great addition to
every brood mare band now or later.
