Eleven HW is sired by the world famous Escamillo, Vice World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses.
Escamillo had a dream start as a sire: ten sons from his first crop of foals were licensed in Germany, among them the Hanoverian premium stallion and 700,000 Euro Stallion Market top price Energy, the Westphalian Reserve Champion Stallion Escaneno and our two promising young stars Expectation PS and Escanto PS. This offspring from Wendel's fantastic line of Cinderella also presented himself brilliantly. "It was fantastic! Very good horse, very good riding", was the comment of the judges on Escamillo's performance at the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2021 in Verden. With the Spanish rider Manuel Dominguez Bernal, who rides for Helen Langehanenberg's yard, the stallion scored 9.2 for his elastic, diligent and already very well balanced trot, 9.0 for his energetic canter with a pronounced suspension phase and 9.5 for his almost perfect walk with a lot of swing through the body. The judges gave the score of 9.5 for his light and even contact, his smooth transitions, the wide crossing in the half-passes and the very confident and powerful upward flying changes, just as they did for the potential of this dressage highlight.
Escamillo began his career as premium stallion at his licensing in 2017 in Verden, passed his 14-day test in 2018 with a dressage score of 9.08 and completed his sport test in 2020 with Helen Langehanenberg with a winning score of 9.36. Ridden by the Olympic team silver medallist, he also qualified for the German Championships for young dressage horses as a five-year-old with 9.5. In 2021, with Manuel Dominguez Bernal, he won the intermediate (M) level dressage test for young horses in Haftenkamp with a score of 8.8 (also qualifier for the German Championships for six-year-olds).
His sire, the Westphalian and double German Champion Escolar, was placed in the final of the Burg Cup, the final of the Louisdor Prize and at the German Championships with the Olympic Champion and riding master Hubertus Schmidt/GER. They were part of the German Olympic squad. His dam Verb.Pr.St. Cassila is the full sister of the licensed stallions Romanist (advanced S* level dressage) and Romeo Niro (intermediate M** level dressage).
His grand-sire Rohdiamant was German Champion in 1993 and competed at Grand Prix level with Lisa Wilcox/USA. Around 50 of his sons have been licensed. His most successful offspring include Valentina Truppa's/ITA Olympic partner Eremo del Castegno and Helen Langehanenberg's Responsible OLD. His grand-dam Chantal is the full sister of the Dumont/Juliane Brunkhorst/GER and Hartwig Burfeind/GER, licensed stallion and successful in Grand Prix, and her half brother Aquavit (by Argentinus) is successful in competitions for young show jumping horses.
De Niro, Landadel and Zeus also appear in the pedigree. His great-grand-dam St.Pr./El.St. Caruge is the full sister of the licensed stallion Laphroaig/Leporello and produced several state premium mares. Her full sister is no other than the German Champion Mare St.Pr./El.St. C-Dur, who produced four licensed stallions.
Line of El.St. Cinderella, from which descend the five German Champion full siblings Sir Heinrich OLD, Cindy OLD, Candy OLD, Caty OLD and Casey OLD (all by Sir Donnerhall I), the Grand Prix dressage horse Radondo (by Romanov)/Ashley Holzer/USA, as well as the stallions Zymbal I and II (both by Zeus), First Class I and II (both by Furioso II), Sesostris (by Silvio I), Rubino Rosso (by Rubinstein), Castus I and II (both by Classiker), Stiefelkönig (by Silvano), Grand Marnier (by Galoubet A), Pharaoh (by Parabol), RTL (by Rubinstein), Routinier (by Rohdiamant), Solo Hit (by Sandro Hit), Get Smart (by Granulit), Fortune Hunter (by First Class I), Casanova (by Castro) and Si bon (by Sir Donnerhall I).
From the Wendel's fantastic line of Cinderella
Eleven HW's dam sire is Den Haag. Den Haag was licensed at the 2010 Westphalian Stallion Licensing and moved into training with Beatrice Hoffrogge (née Buchwald) who was first based at Johann Hinnemann's and then at Isabell Werth's stable. Beatrice developed him to Grand Prix level. In 2012 Den Haag sold to Austrian Manfred Hödl. The pair was 8th at the 2013 Bundeschampionate for 5-year olds and fourth in the finals for 6-year olds at the 2014 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany. In 2016 Buchwald competed the horse in the Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifiers, but between the summer of 2016 and the spring of 2018 there were no shows for Den Haag.
In the autumn of 2016 Buchwald moved from Werth to Manfred Hödl's stable in Rhineland and Den Haag joined her. The pair returned to the arena a year and a half later at a local show in Wupperfurth in April 2018, at Grand Prix level. It was his only show of that year. Den Haag was also gelded around that time.
A year later Den Haag was shown in the Intermediaire II in June and July 2019 at shows in Werder and Bettenrode. The July show was the pair's last. Den Haag moved to Isabell Werth's yard in November 2019 to be sold. Werth made her show debut on Den Haag at the CDN Ankum in January 2020 and competed him five times in total that year their last show being in October 2020. In July 2021 Den Haag returned to the arena for an S*** level class at a local show in Hamminkeln under Werth's assistant rider, Austrian Lisa Wernitznig. The gelding has now been sold to 44-year old Japanese Akiko Yonemoto, a student of Heiner Schiergen. Yonemoto, who is the daughter of Katsumi Yoshida and part of a Thoroughbred horse racing dynasty in Japan, has been competing in Europe in dressage for the past twenty years. She began in 1999 with Gigolo (by Clongish x Tempelhüter), then added Ravell (by Rubinstein x Cardinal xx) to her string, as well as Laudarius and Felix (by Werther x Wenzel). Her first Grand Prix horse was Elmegardens Fight (by Fruhling x Locarno) which she bought at Hof Kasselmann and showed at international GP level in 2005 and 2006. In 2018 Yonemoto bought the Westfalian small tour horse For Comtess Royal and in 2019 she added Grand Prix stallion Aaron (by Florencio x Record) to her string as a Tokyo Olympic hopeful, but the pair never competed internationally. She made her debut on Aaron in March 2020 at the regional show in Troisdorf and then only returned to the arena in October 2021 to compete the horse four more times in the autumn. Yonemoto has now acquired Den Haag as a Grand Prix schoolmaster.

This young man has absolutely superb gaits, a very free shoulder, strong active hind legs and lots of suspension. Piaffe and passage will be a blast for him. He truly gives his best every day and tries to learn and please, what a fun horse in hand and under saddle. He shows himself reliable and willing, light in hand, soft to sit, with very elastic, cat like movement, one can barely hear him touch the ground.
This super star will be the most stunning Grand Prix horse in the future, maybe even Olympic hopeful, the sky is the limit, dream big!
He was raised in a private stallion herd, perfectly socialized and correctly handled/trained from day one, he is a no nonsense boy and so much fun to ride. Eleven HW has a very bright future, this is the perfect horse for the Bundeschampionat or the Young Horse Classes. His genes will be an enrichment worldwide, should you chose to keep him in tact and keep producing high quality foals.
He stands for the farrier, loves his solarium time, has a puppy dog mentality in the barn and for sure loves daily cuddles and treats. He loads and travels well.
The goal of HW Farm is, to offer highly talented young horses in Germany for riders in the USA and all over the world. This young star will go far in the dressage ring, he is your ticket to the top!
