Royal HW, black Westphalian gelding by Rubin Royal/Windfall, born in 2005, standing approximately 16.1 hands.

Royal HW is a super fancy imported boy! He is by the famous stallion Rubin Royal. At the licensing for young stallions in 1999 he was awarded premium. He awed the judges with his brilliant type, sensational movement and great jumping qualities. Wherever Rubin Royal makes an appearance he is always welcomed with a spontaneous applause. His first offspring have already won young horse classes which justifies his 12th place in the German wide Breeding Evaluation List for dressage horses.

In 2000 Rubin Royal completed his stallion performance testing in Adelheidsdorf finishing in fourth place in Leistungsklasse 1, with great critical acclaim from the press. In all aspects of the testing he confirmed his abilities and talents with high scores. After the presentation of his first foals in 2001, Rubin Royal was undisputedly awarded the 1 a-Main Premium Stallion in Oldenburg . Rubin Royal, from Seiferts own breeding, is a great example of a multi-talented stallion.

Royal HW’s dam is by the sensational Windfall. When he was four years old Windfall was placed by his owners, the Diehm family of Germany , with the daughter of the late Olympic gold-medalist Reiner Klimke. Ingrid Klimke had ridden several of their young stallions quite successfully (Starway, Grand Prix) and was emerging as one of Germany ’s top event/dressage riders. Over the next four years the pair took the German combined training world by storm. They scored forty wins and placings, including national Young Horse championships, a professional rider championship (in which Windfall was used for all three phases), and wins at all the CIC**s and CIC***s held there in 1999. In fact, in 1999 as a seven-year-old he was elected Germany ’s Horse of the Year (all breeds, all sports) by the readers of the prominent magazine, Reiter Revue. Although he was short-listed for the German team for the Sydney Olympics in 2000, he did not travel because Ingrid Klimke was selected to compete on another Diehm-owned horse, the thoroughbred gelding Sleep Late.

In late 2000, the Diehms sold Windfall to Tim Holekamp, with the understanding that Darren Chiacchia would campaign him in the US and that he would be kept intact for breeding purposes. That plan has been followed with considerable success. Over the last five years Windfall has emerged as the most prominent advanced level eventing stallion in the world. At the end of 2005 the USEA announced that he is the sixth highest ranked eventhorse of all time in the US , and by far the highest ranked stallion of any breed of all time. His dressage performance has been without equal. At virtually every venue he has won or placed in the top three in that phase, at times besting the most successful event horses in the world.

Royal HW himself is equipped with superb gaits, where his walk is one of the many highlights, always in a super clean rhythm, with good overstride and ground covering forward movement. He has a very active hind leg, which enables him to shine in the trot and to sit in the canter. He has a free shoulder, fancy front leg movement and he barley touches the ground. He is light in the bridle, easy to sit and already very safe. This gelding does come in the favorite color, best bloodlines, gaits, brains, character and is the total package. Royal HW has lots of air time. He loves to please his handler and rider, to learn new things is his hobby. He is all concentrated on his work in the dressage arena and with his quick hind leg, passage and piaffe will come naturally to him. You will be the star in the FEI young horse classes and at clinics with further correct training. He was professionally started and trained and you can continue up the levels with him, no known vices at all. He is suitable for the young rider, for amateurs and professionals alike.
